Thankyou Henrika. I have googled many thing's about St. Petesburg Russia but I can't find answers about the famous ball and now cat. I use google earth maps to see what the street really looks like. Very interesting to see 3 street views on web cam site all connected side by side together. I cannot find custom's with google or wikipedia. Thank you for speaking english. :-) Tim

I understand that famous ball is elevated by water acting as hydraulic pressure. Not sure what it is in PSI.Pounds per square inch..USA measurement. So many interesing conversation's I have started about the famous Ball and the good luck cat. I could go on and on with quesions. Once again...I do not understand or read Russian. I decided to start translating other conversations and did not know a few others were talking to me in Russian. I am sorry I did not thank "ALL" of you for your explanations and information to me in Russian. I have only been on this web site for about 6 months and we just love watching the subway view and the famous ball. My wife and I are very curious about Russian culture and what is going on. Yes...I am married for 30 years. I am 56 years old..so pleas don't fight over me. :-)

Как решётка летнего сада не была создана как спортивая стенка, а Исакиевский собор не парашютная площадка, а Дворцовая площадь не каток. Одно дело когда его чуть крутанут, а другое когда ломают.
